The short version: we only ask for your email when you join a waitlist, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell your data. This policy explains the details and your rights under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022, "PDP Law").
1. Who is responsible for your data
PT Yerin Teknologi Nusantara is the data controller for personal data collected through https://yerin.uk. Registered office: [Registered office address, Indonesia]. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@yerin.uk.
This policy covers the website only. The Yerin products (the assistant, Yerin Desktop, and Yerin Studio) are not available yet and will have their own privacy terms when they launch.

We don't ask for sensitive personal data, and we don't knowingly collect data from children under 18.
3. Our legal basis
We process your email, call requests, and votes based on your consent, which you give by submitting a form or clicking Vote. Technical data is processed for our legitimate interest in running a secure website. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 8). Withdrawing doesn't affect processing that already happened.
4. Storage on your device
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The website saves a few items in your browser's local storage: your anonymous voting ID and which ideas you voted for, so the buttons stay marked when you come back. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
The anti-spam check on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) may read signals from your browser to tell people from bots. It is not used for advertising.
5. Who we share data with
We don't sell or rent personal data. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, the database that stores waitlist sign-ups, call requests, and votes, anti-spam (Turnstile), security, and cookie-free visitor statistics (Web Analytics).
- Google LLC: web fonts (Google Fonts). Your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.
- An email delivery provider, if and when we send launch emails. We'll name it here before we start.
We may also disclose data if Indonesian law requires it, or to protect our rights and users' safety.
6. Transfers outside Indonesia
Our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside Indonesia. Our database is hosted in Cloudflare's Asia-Pacific region. We rely on providers with recognised security practices and contractual data protection commitments, in line with the PDP Law's requirements for cross-border transfers.
7. How long we keep data
- Waitlist emails: until you ask us to delete them, or 24 months after the related product launches, whichever comes first.
- Call requests: up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Votes: until we finish evaluating the Labs ideas, then deleted or kept only as anonymous totals.
- Technical logs: for the short periods our providers keep them for security and operations.
8. Your rights
Under the PDP Law you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data or stop processing it;
- withdraw your consent, for example to leave the waitlist;
- receive your data in a commonly used format.
Email privacy@yerin.uk from the address you signed up with. We'll respond within the time the law requires. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Indonesian authority responsible for personal data protection.
9. Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, access to our database is limited to the people who run Yerin, and our forms are protected against automated abuse. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we'll notify you and the relevant authority as the PDP Law requires.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change, for example when Yerin products launch. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. If a change is significant and we have your email, we'll tell you.
